The fragrance composition Bal d'Afrique celebrates Africa's enormous reach and influence over time, especially the way in which its countless cultures have shaped dance, art and music. At the same time, the fragrance is Ben Gorham's "love letter" to Africa - a country he associates with fictional memories of his father. Bal d'Afrique evokes this emotionality and memory with notes of neroli, marigold and Moroccan cedarwood.
