Bio Screen filters are part of the fourth stage of filtration in Fluval C filters, so they will make all the water that passes through the filter even healthier and cleaner.
This filter screen that performs the first biological filtration will house the beneficial bacteria that will be responsible for performing biological filtration throughout the aquarium, which will lower the level of toxins such as ammonia or nitrites, thus reducing the chances of our fish entering a stressed state or becoming ill in some way.
