Dark blue filter for the Kraken Hydra 18,000 and Solar Flare Mini 18000 video spotlight.
Blue filters are used to make the color of the light from your spotlight the same as the color of the ambient light.
The deeper you dive, the bluer it becomes.
If you then illuminate the foreground subject with the white light from your spotlight, there is a big color difference between the foreground and the background.
The background is largely illuminated by the blue ambient light.
You can perform a correction using a manual white balance.
To ensure that both the foreground and the background get the correct color after the correction, you need to make sure that both are exposed with the same color.
With the right blue filter, the light from your video spotlight will be the same as that of the ambient light.
If you then perform a white balance correction, the colors of the entire image will be perfect.
