ROTOR created the UBB system (Universal bottom bracket) to try to overcome the challenge of compatibility between the cranks and the different bottom bracket standards that have emerged recently and that have become somewhat frustrating for many cyclists and mechanics. Manufactured from 7000 aluminum, UBB4630 uses two bushings which are screwed into each other, ensuring good performance without cracking as normally happens in conventional PressFit.UBB4630 thanks to its design prevents overload of the bearings and prolongs their life. The bearings placed outside the frames reduce the friction of the bearings and increase the stiffness of the bottom bracket. The bushing placed between the cups prevents the cables from rubbing between the shaft and the cables themselves.
